Policies & Questions

01. It’s my first time doing Pilates. How do I get started?

If you are new to Pilates and/or any of the equipment, we highly recommend taking advantage of the Intro Package which includes three private lessons. This will give you an introduction to the basic exercises and the principles of Pilates as well as each of the main pieces of equipment. Most people, after completing these initial sessions, are ready to join a group class.

02. What do I wear?

You will need comfortable exercise clothing in which you can move. If you choose shorts, we suggest wearing form fitting ones such as  bike shorts or tights underneath baggy shorts. Toe socks (socks with grip) are optional.

03. How often do you recommend I come?

This is a personal choice and dependent on your goals; some people opt to come once a week. In order to see physical adaptations more quickly, we recommend 2-3 times per week. This will allow your body to integrate what you learn in each session as well as carry this awareness into your daily life.

04. How do I schedule?

You’ll need to create an account prior to booking your first class. You can register or log in here.
View our class schedule here. You may book up to two months in advance.

05. What does the wait list mean?

Our classes fill up quickly! If a class is full, you may elect to be placed on the “Wait list”. If a spot opens up, you will be notified via email or text. You will automatically be given the spot based on your number on the wait list. Keep in mind that once you are placed on the wait list, our cancellation policy will apply so make sure to check your email (Spam/Junk Folder too!) for notifications that you were placed into the class.

06. What should I bring?

Please bring water with you to your session or class. We also have water available for purchase. Otherwise, we provide everything that you will need for your session. Please leave your cell phone at home or on silent. Grip socks are optional!

07. What if I have injuries?

A consistent Pilates practice can help with chronic or ongoing injuries. Please alert your instructor upon arrival, so they can modify accordingly. If you are new to the studio, we recommend taking advantage of the Intro Package [link] which includes three private lessons for 1-1 support.

08. Can I Pilates if I’m pregnant?

All of our instructors are trained to accommodate and modify for pregnant people in our group classes. As you progress through your pregnancy, we might recommend private training for more customized workouts.

09. What if I am running late?

Please contact your instructor if you are running late for a private session. If they have not heard from you, the instructor reserves the right to forfeit the session after 15 minutes. You will be charged for a full session if you no-show or cancel within the 24-hour window.

10. What if I need to cancel?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for all classes, private lessons, and semi-private trainings.

To avoid a full charge, please cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to your session or class start time.

Classes are booked and pre-paid directly through our website or on the MindBody app, and you must cancel online as well. If a class cancellation is done inside the 24 hour window, the late fee is the cost of the class, as we are not able to fill a vacated spot on short notice.

If you are on a Monthly Unlimited class package, a $15 reservation fee will be charged for cancellation within the 24-hour window or no-shows.

24-hour notice applies to privates and semi-privates as well, so your instructor can plan their schedule and/or fill your spot. If you need to cancel, contact your instructor or email the studio at contact@reformpilates.net. If you late-cancel, the fee is the cost of the session. This policy is in place so that instructors get paid.

11. How do I cancel my Unlimited Membership?

Monthly unlimited memberships auto-renew. They can be cancelled before the next monthly cycle begins by emailing us at contact@reformpilates.net. We cannot refund a charge that has already been processed.
